The Schnauzer is a German dog. They call the Standard Schnauzer a Mittelschnauzer.
They are so handsome and aristocratic, a friend who has two says, that Durer painted them in the early 1500s and Rembrandt painted them in the 1600s.
Schnauzers are generally black or salt and pepper and are said to be the “dog with a human brain”
They are very smart, and in the video below, you can see this, as two of them find a strange bag in their house. This bag has a special scent that they know, but have not smelled for some time.
